How do I book a trip or reserve a spot?

You can book trips and reserve spots in several ways. When you are to the home page, we will automatically search for trips near your current location or up to 200 miles away. You can also use our search feature on the home page to search for trips, guides/captains, or charter boats near a particular city or region, for a given date range, and species. When you find a trip you want to fish on, click the green reserve button to reserve the trip. Add your payment method and number of spots you want to reserve and click the green Reserve button. Depending on how the guide/captain has set up his/her trip, we will either charge your card at that time or or your card will be charged when your guide/captain checks you in for the trip. We will send you an email confirmation for your reservation and you will also receive an email reminder the day before your trip.


How do I cancel my reservation?

Log in to Fishing Guides 360 and click on your username at the top of the page. This will take you to your dashboard. From there, you will see your calendar and a list of your reservations. From the list of reservations, simply click the cancel button and we will cancel your reservation. If you have already paid for your trip, and you cancel before the guide/captains cancellation deadline, you will receive a full refund. If you have not paid for your trip, there is nothing more to do. If you cancel your reservation after the cancellation deadline and have paid for your trip, you will not receive a refund. If you cancel your trip after the cancellation deadline, but your card has not been charged, your guide/captain will mark your reservation as a no show and your card will be charged.


Is my credit card safe?

Absolutely! In fact, it is much safer to use your credit card online than it is at any retail location. We do not store credit card numbers, but store customer information and an identifier for the card you used. All sensitive credit card information is stored with our payment processing partner.


How do you calculate the Best Bets?

We take the fishing ratings from customers and guides/captains when a trip is complete. All ratings are anonymous, so no one will not know how you have rated the fishing. We average the fishing ratings for a particular species and location over the last 7 days for display on the Fishing Reports page. This gives you a reliable, accurate way to know what the fishing has been like for those species in those locations. Other sites, simply call a bunch of guides/captains and ask them how the fishing has been and then make an arbitrary rating.


I didn't get my confirmation email. Can you resend it?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If you can't find the email, log in and click your username at the top of the page to go to your dashboard. Contact support using the info in the left menu.
